The Momentum is Real: Launch Dates, Matchday Guides, and a Final Dress Rehearsal!
What a few months it’s been. Ever since we touched down from our unofficial launch trip in Oslo—complete with a 16-strong tour group, frozen harbor dives, and accidental free advertising to passing cruise ships—the momentum behind Football TravelHER has been building at a terrifyingly exciting pace.
Before we get into the heavy logistics, a quick life update: if you’re looking for us, we are currently hiding deep inside a dark room with the curtains drawn, completely avoiding the intense June heatwave. Let’s be completely honest—we were built for cold, rainy Tuesday nights at the stadium, not tropical British summers.
In some ways, the blazing sun has been a total blessing in disguise. Because we look extremely pale and would likely melt within two minutes of stepping outside, we’ve had the perfect excuse to stay hidden indoors and get a mountain of work done. It turns out that being aggressively pasty is excellent for business productivity!
We finally have what we’ve been waiting for: the official confirmation dates for the WSL 26-27 fixtures! With the schedule locked in, we can finally press the big green button without fearing we’re booking you a trip to a match that doesn't exist.
Mark your calendars for the week commencing 27th July 2026. That is the official week our website goes live, our booking systems open, and Football TravelHER launches to the world! From that week, you’ll be able to book the ultimate, end-to-end women’s football matchday experiences.
Plus, we’ve got even more scheduling wins on the horizon. The SWPL fixture announcements are dropping just ahead of this, which means we will be completely up to speed and ready to integrate those dates straight into our matchday packages for Glasgow City, alongside our upcoming Liga F guides!
We’ll be totally honest with you: a lot more work and time has gone into our Matchday Guides than we ever anticipated. Turns out, you can't just wing it when you're managing groups across the UK and Europe. But we refuse to cut corners.
For each of the 20+ stadiums we are currently mapping out across the UK and Europe, we have given careful, meticulous consideration to every single detail. We aren't just sending you to a match; we’re curating an experience. That means hours spent researching, vetting, and drinking way too much caffeine to find:

Safe Areas: Ensuring you and your travel crew feel completely secure from the moment you unpack your bags to the post-match celebrations.
Effortless Transport: Clear, foolproof, cashless transit routes from the airport to your basecamp, and straight to the stadium gates. No stress, and absolutely no getting left behind on a train like certain members of our Oslo crew.
To give you complete inspiration (and bragging rights), we are also building extra profiles for each featured club. You’ll be able to see exactly which stadiums the teams play at (crucial for clubs that split time between main structures and smaller grounds), ground capacities, and a look back at memorable, historic games to get your matchday spirit tingling.
The entire Football TravelHER business model relies on one non-negotiable rule: we only feature clubs where we have direct, official contacts for ticket purchasing. No sketchy third-party resellers, no shady ticket exchanges, and absolutely zero stress for you.
Right now, we are in our final 3 or 4 club meetings of the summer. Our goal? To push our network up to 15 featured clubs across the UK and Europe’s top-flight leagues before launch week.
Before we open the floodgates to the public, we have to make sure our system is utterly bulletproof. On July 11th, we will be sitting down for a full-day, multiple end-to-end booking simulation.
We’ll be pretending we have a full roster of live customers—processing enquiries, locking down hotel rooms, assigning match tickets, and mapping out itineraries in real-time. If there is a single snag in our pricing, speed, or logistics, we’re going to find it and fix it before we touch your hard-earned holiday money. Think of it as a dress rehearsal, minus the stage fright.
