If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to get in touch — we’re always happy to help.
What happens if my football match is cancelled or postponed?
Football matches are sometimes cancelled or rescheduled for reasons outside our control. If a suitable alternative match is available, we will provide access to that match. If no suitable alternative is available and your other travel arrangements remain usable, we will refund the match ticket portion only.
Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?
You can cancel your booking, but cancellation charges will apply depending on how close to departure you cancel. Many elements of your package are non-refundable once booked. Full details are set out in our Booking Conditions.
What if the match is moved to a different date?
If a match is rescheduled and you choose not to attend, this is treated as a cancellation by you and standard cancellation charges apply.
Do I get a refund if I don’t attend the match?
No. Failure to attend a match for personal reasons does not entitle you to a refund.
What happens if Football Travelher cancels my trip?
If we cancel your package (other than for events beyond our control), you will receive a full refund. In some cases, we may offer an alternative package.
What are “unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances”?
These are serious events outside anyone’s control, such as war, terrorism, pandemics or natural disasters, which make travel unsafe or impossible. In these circumstances, you may be entitled to cancel with a full refund.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. Adequate travel insurance is a condition of booking and must cover cancellation, medical expenses and curtailment.
Are flights, match tickets and accommodation refundable?
In most cases, no. These elements are typically non-refundable once booked, which is why we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong during my trip?
You should raise issues immediately with the relevant supplier and contact Football Travelher as soon as possible using the emergency contact details provided before departure.
Will Football TravelHER staff travel with us?
No. Football TravelHER does not provide escorted or accompanied tours. All customers travel independently.
Is this a group tour?
No. While trips may be themed around the same match or destination, travel is self-guided and itineraries are flexible.
What does Football TravelHER provide?
We curate and arrange match tickets, accommodation, and optional experiences, alongside pre-trip guidance and recommendations.
What don’t you provide?
We do not provide tour leaders, on-site hosts, group transfers, or day-to-day itinerary management during the trip.
Who is this best suited for?
Fans who want the confidence of expert planning but the freedom to travel independently and explore at their own pace.
Will the football club contact me directly?
Yes. If your booking includes match tickets, we will need to share your details with the relevant football club or official ticket provider so they can issue your tickets.
This means they may contact you directly with important match-day information such as ticket delivery, stadium entry instructions, or schedule changes.
Will we be seated with home or away fans?
For all Football TravelHER experiences, tickets are typically located in the home end of the club hosting the fixture.
This helps us secure reliable access to matches and ensures a smooth experience for our customers. It also gives you the chance to soak up the atmosphere alongside local supporters.
